Rachel Tan

With substantial experience advising on corporate matters, Rachel Tan is sought after by clients to help with M&A, joint ventures and venture capital investments.

Representing clients in Asian cross-border transactions, including Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Thailand, she has advised extensively on the structuring and financing of corporate transactions. She also has considerable experience in corporate and debt restructuring, as well as the structuring and documentation of loan transactions and debt instruments, and in project financing. 

Rachel is admitted in a number of jurisdictions in Australia, New York, England and Wales and Singapore. Rachel has taught in several Australian universities, edited various academic and professional law journals such as the Journal of Banking & Finance Law & Practice, and wrote the section on mergers and acquisitions for Butterworths Forms and Precedents, Singapore.

Rachel speaks English, Mandarin and a number of Chinese dialects.
