Our disputes team has longstanding experience in handling construction disputes, ranging from standard SIA and PSSCOC contracts to more bespoke turnkey projects.
We have acted in numerous claims brought against developers, contractors and/or professionals for construction defects such as water seepage, design issues, defective or non-compliant materials used during construction, and so on. We have represented clients in matters related to disputes over delays and extensions of time; as well as advising clients in complex cases related to the insolvency of large construction companies, with different classes of creditors along with on-going contracts.
We act for contractors, developers, building professionals, management corporations, public authorities and statutory boards, and has appeared as lead counsel in construction-related disputes before the Singapore High Court, the Strata Titles Board as well as arbitral tribunals.
